Inner Development Guide Pocket Edition is, and will remain, free — no subscription, no locked features. If you'd like to help fund continued development, maintenance and hosting, you're welcome to contribute any amount.

Your contribution goes to We Remagine One AB, the company behind the app — Janolof Elander, IDG Ambassador, runs the company and develops the app. It buys nothing: the app is the same app either way. Your contribution is not tax-deductible in Sweden, and if you are somewhere else, your own tax authority is the one to ask.

Whatever you think it is worth, in one of twenty currencies — and if yours is among them your bank has nothing to convert, because the exchange is then ours to carry rather than yours.

A standing contribution, which is what makes the running costs predictable. Any amount, the same as above — and it is yours to change or stop, whenever you like and without asking us.

What holds it up

Hosting for this site and the servers behind it, and the Apple and Google developer fees — standing costs, which arrive whether or not anyone opens the app that month.

And the work, which is most of it. Not only the app: the site you are reading, the console that keeps it fed, and the infrastructure under both. Building and evolving all of it, adding languages, keeping it working as phones and stores change; the attention that goes into the parts nobody is meant to notice. That is most of it by a long way — a person's focus, devotion and commitment. It is what brings the app to life, makes it fly, keeps it breathing, and gives it away free.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which is where the card details are entered; we never see them. The charge appears as WE REMAGINE ONE AB on your statement. This page itself runs no scripts, loads nothing from anywhere else, and sets no cookie — see Contact Privacy.
